Review of L'Oreal Paris The One Sweep Eye Shadow and Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara

As a BzzAgent, I get to try products for free in exchange for an honest review and creation of buzz on the Web. This week I received 2 new products in the mail: L'Oreal Paris The One Sweep Eye Shadow and Double Extend Eye Illumintor Mascara. Honestly, I rarely wear makeout - only once in a blue moon for a special occasion or maybe date night with hubby. These 2 products, however, are easy enough to make me want to wear makeup a little more often.

The One Sweep Eye Shadow

I really love the eye shadow because as the name suggests, it only takes one sweep to apply it! I am a person that knows nothing about applying eye shadow, so the fact that this one container has all 3 colors needed to enhance (define, color, highlight) your eyes is very convenient. There is no need to apply each shade separately, it's all applied in a single sweep. Up close you can see each color on your lid, but they blend to perfection. The shape of the applicator is shaped to match your lid which makes it really easy to get that one sweep down to a science. They have different palettes for each eye color; I received the one for brown eyes.

Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara

The mascara is a bit harder to apply (for an amateur like me), but I love the final result. It adds a hint of sparkle to the lashes, really highlights them and make them sparkle. The product is clump free so there's no mess when applying and it should last awhile. You apply the actual black mascara first and then the bronze topcoat to the tips of the lashes. It is supposed to lengthen and intensify the lashes. My lashes are already pretty long, so I didn't notice too much extra length to them; I did notice some intensity though. I took before and after pics below for you to see for yourself.

Before Eye Shadow and Mascara

So this is my natural look that I rock 98% of the time. I am wearing lip gloss only.

After Eye Shadow and Mascara

Remember, I really don't know anything about applying makeout - so I may have applied it all wrong lol. You can see on one eye I have a little more color (from the eye shadow) towards the bottom of my lid than than the other (I'm still getting into the habbit of this). You also really can't see the sparkles from the mascara; I guess it only shows in person. I also did not apply any eye liner.
